Bursaries
Do you need a little help to attend the Global Empathy in Healthcare Network Symposium 2025: ‘Rehumanising Healthcare in a Divided World’?
We have a limited number of bursaries offering a 100% or 50% discount on symposium fees.
Before applying for a bursary, please ensure you have tried all other sources of funding available to you, including your local institution / organisation / company.
Each application will be considered on a case -by-case basis.
The limited number of bursaries available will be assessed against the bursary criteria and the reference provided by the applicant.
It will not be possible to issue any bursaries once the annual allocation has run out.

Eligibility for bursary applications

If you are unable to afford the symposium fees due to low income.

If you are not in active employment due to your personal circumstances, e.g. for one of the following reasons:
· You are raising a family full-time or are a full-time carer
· You are experiencing long-term unemployment
· You are suffering a prolonged illness that prevents you from seeking employment

In addition, please provide a reference letter from your institution / organisation / company or a colleague who is aware of your work in empathic healthcare.

Upon receipt of your application, we will send you a notification outlining when you will receive a decision.
